BREAKING NEWS (3rd June 2014)
We are now offering a ONE NIGHT CAMPING OFFER (Saturday) for a reduced cost of just £45. We are also opening up our facilities for car parking (£10) on the Sunday, as well as providing a secure bicycle parking area (£5). We strongly recommend that you book in advance because, on the day, access to the site may well be restricted and you may be asked for proof of booking in order to gain access to the club. We also stress that you arrive at the site no later than 10am on the Sunday as the "Tour caravan" will be expected to start coming through at around 11am.
Secure your space now!
We understand from our local council that access to our site will be available all weekend although it may be restricted after 10am on the Sunday. Our suggestion for getting here is that you take Junction 25 off the M62 (Brighouse) and follow the signs for Halifax, Elland (A6025). When you get to Elland Bridge, turn left (B6114) and then take the second right (just after passing the Malt Shovel pub). Up a short steep hill and then right up Westgate (past the Savile Arms pub). Keep going past the Fleece Inn to the next junction. You then need to cross over this junction up Hullenedge Road. Elland CC is several hundred yards up here on your left.
We are led to believe that access up Hullenedge Road will be available all weekend but there may be restrictions at the bottom of the Road, which is why we suggest you keep a copy of your booking confirmation as you may need to show this to gain access.
The pelaton will pass within just 50 yards (45 metres) of the cricket ground so it will be the perfect place to be to watch the cyclists ride through short but steep and narrow climb from West Vale into Elland or camp here and cycle to a bigger climb nearby. Another great vantage point will be on the climb up Blackley Road - just ten minutes' walk from the camp site.

Elland CC and le Tour
Elland Cricket Club is opening its ground for the entire weekend (starting on the Friday afternoon). There are extensive plans for the town of Elland for this weekend with carnivals, food and beer festivals and many other events for you and your family. We have decided to set our prices to cover the whole three possible nights that we recommend to take advantage of to avoid any transport problems that will arise with road closures and congestion during this time. Our prices are fixed for the 3 nights so you pay the same whether you stay one, two or three nights with us.
